The Fullbright foreign student program is offering academic funding and scholarships for a maximum of two years approved by the Fullbright scholarship board, for abroad students with their graduate or masters. Ph.D. students have also a chance to participate. Fullbright Scholarship 2023-24.

Students just done with their graduate are encouraged to apply for this program as this is the largest Fulbright program in Africa that offers a chance for successful students to study in the USA.
The Fulbright LTE program (long-term English program) is an 8 months program to train proficient English to the successful students who face problems with English. Fullbright Foreign Student Program.
Selection criteria
The application and interview process of deserving candidates is sorted out by eligible local representatives of the USA. Here is the detail of the selection criteria for those students who can avail of this golden chance.
To avail of this opportunity the student must have a strong grip on the English language.
The Fulbright foreign student program is only for international students, no student having experience with the US will be considered.
Only Applicants who belong to the nominating countries, and have a passport or nationality issued by nominating countries will be considered.
The applicants must pass the required test.
The local employee’s staff working abroad that are employed by USAID, can’t get their allowance during the period of employment.
Students Details:
The nominated students must have completed their graduate degree or degree equivalent of 4 years, and in the case of a student possessing a degree of three years, some universities don’t accept that, and on the other hand, some do. In case of acceptance, the students must have a recent study record of 13 years( including primary and secondary education).
The students must be passionate and competitive enough to take the test, and in case of admission must be motivated enough to complete the education in this program.
The nominees will get only one Fulbright ( Scholarship) student allowance in a given completion cycle as students are allowed to apply for only one grant per year. This grant includes Humphrey scholar students.
Application process:
To apply, you have to possess three letters of recommendation.
- To participate in this highly competitive test, the applicants must take their initial tests.
To get admission, the student must have passed his TOEFL exam, as IELTS is not applicable. The passing grades are mentioned on your application. You must have a minimum score of 80.
- Zero-tolerance plagiarism policy is introduced according to which, students who are exempted are not up to the mark.
- In case you are seeking admission to a business program, you must pass the GMAT test, in which you have to score 550, in the case of a master, and 600 marks in the case of a Ph.D.
- Other than law and business, passing marks of the fifteenth percentile are required in the GRE test. and in case you didn’t pass you have to try again to clear the test.
