This Scholarship if for students who want to get higher education abroad, with application accepted from all over the globe. This is fully funded scholarship for students wish to continue their PHD education in leading universities in the states which include MIT, Harvard, Massachusetts, and other universities. This program was signed by both countries Pakistan and United states in 2015 with the establishment of joint working group on education. This group was established for the vision 2025 to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries on education.
For the same purpose Second meeting of ESTWG summit was held in February 2016 in Washington DC. Action plan was discussed for US Pakistan Knowledge corridor was the coming year and its implementation. United States agreed to support Pakistan in education sector and increasing the count of PHD students from Pakistan.

Application Criteria:
Following are the main requirements for the applicant to apply.
- Pakistani and candidates from Azad Jammu and Kashmir / AJK.
- 18 years of education required from HEC universities with MS / M.Phil. Graduation.
- Having Bachelor’s DegreeS/B.Sc./B.E with four years and having sixteen years of education, for direct admission in a Ph.D. program in US Universities.
- Should not have any 2nd or 3rd position in your entire careers for both categories.
- You should not be in any other Scholarship program and also not have a PHD Degree.
